If you cannot conceive with your own eggs, you may be exploring egg donation in Australia. Of course, before making a decision, you’ll want to understand the cost and fees associated with this fertility treatment.
When comparing costs, one thing to consider is whether you’ll be using fresh eggs or frozen eggs. Some intended parents will travel overseas for the IVF process because it allows them to use fresh eggs for their treatment. However, it’s much easier to use frozen eggs that are shipped to Australia, as this not only allows you to remain in the comfort of your own country, but it lets you use a local IVF clinic that abides by Australia’s strict rules and regulations.
There are other advantages to staying in Australia as well. For instance, it’s important to note that if you go overseas for IVF treatment, you’ll need to know what the local regulations are so that you can abide by them. Not to mention, you’ll have to pay to fly to the country in question and stay there while the process is completed. This can get quite expensive — especially if you have to do it again because the embryo transfer failed the first time.
At CentraLIVF, we offer a secure and reliable way to find overseas egg donors without requiring you to travel abroad. We operate in Ukraine and Georgia, where egg donation is completely legal. In addition, all of our donors undergo rigorous testing as required to be eligible for egg donation, so you can be sure that the eggs are safe and high-quality.
On top of that, we are very transparent about our prices. We have four different egg donation programs that come with a guaranteed number of vitrified donor eggs and the creation of a minimum number of cleavage-stage embryos or blastocysts
How You Choose The Best Donor Egg For Your Treatment
At CentraLIVF, we offer a secure and reliable way to source donated eggs from overseas. We have strict protocols in place. First, we ensure that every egg donor is carefully tested and screened.
Then, we ensure the donor eggs are retrieved and frozen safely before being shipped to Australian partner clinics. Our general procedure for you to choose and receive the donor eggs is simple but thorough:
- First, you’ll have a consultation at your chosen clinic.
- You’ll register with CentraLIVF.
- We will give you the opportunity to choose an appropriate donor that has been rigorously tested and screened
- You will confirm the matched donor and make your payment.
- The donor’s eggs will be collected and frozen using vitrification unless already frozen and available.
- The eggs will then be shipped to our partner clinic in Australia.
Our Premium Donor Egg Program Guarantee
When working with us at CentraLIVF, you pay for the highest quality service, peace of mind, safety, and convenience. Our premium donor egg programs come with a guaranteed number of vitrified donor eggs and the creation of a minimum number of cleavage-stage embryos or blastocysts — and you’ll never have to leave Australia. Our programs include the following:
8 Egg Program
Our 8 Egg Program guarantees at least three cleavage-stage embryos being created from the eight vitrified donor eggs. A cleavage-stage embryo is an embryo that has developed in the lab for two to three days and divided into two or more cell clusters, which means it’s ready for transfer.
10 Egg Program
Our 10 Egg Program guarantees at least four cleavage-stage embryos or the creation of at least two blastocysts from the ten vitrified donor eggs. A blastocyst is an embryo that has had more time to develop in the lab and can be transferred on day five or six of development. If an embryo has managed to develop into a blastocyst, it’s thought to be more likely to result in a successful pregnancy.
12 Egg Program
Our 12 Egg Program guarantees at least five cleavage-stage embryos or the creation of at least three blastocysts from the 12 vitrified donor eggs.
14 Egg Program
Our 14 Egg Program guarantees at least six cleavage-stage embryos or the creation of at least four blastocysts from the 14 vitrified donor eggs.
Other Fees Involved
Although you won’t have to fly to another country and pay to stay at a hotel while undergoing the egg donation and IVF process, there are some other associated costs that you should be aware of. These fees include the following:
Treatment Cycles Costs
Ultimately, we are only responsible for ensuring that the frozen donor eggs are safely delivered. The cost of creating the embryos and implanting them is determined by the clinic you’ve chosen to work with. Although we will vitrify the donor eggs, the clinic you’ve chosen for your treatment will be responsible for thawing the frozen eggs and fertilizing them before either transferring or freezing the embryos. The clinic will provide the costs and charges for these services.
If more than one treatment cycle is required because you did not become pregnant with the first cycle, you will have to pay for each additional cycle. This can be particularly expensive if you’ve chosen to travel abroad for treatment and have to travel again for another embryo transfer.
Transportation
We charge a fee based on the number of patients for all related delivery costs (meaning, the cost of transporting the frozen donor eggs to Australia to your clinic). This fee is currently $1,800 per patient in a group of at least five patients per clinic. However, this fee may be changed based on the latest shipping and handling costs.
